New Irrigation
System Guide
Congratulations on the completion of
your new irrigation system! For the
first 30 days, your system should be set
to water every day for a minimum of
20-45 minutes per zone of rotating
heads, based on the weather. Spot
seeding will help fill in disturbed
areas faster. Zones with mist/spray
heads (heads that do not rotate) need
less time; an average of 5-15 minutes.
After this period, a recommended
schedule is every other day (odd or
even, corresponding to your house
number) for same duration.
As the season goes on, you may notice
that different parts of your property
need more or less watering time,
based on sun exposure and the slope of
the land. Remember, each zone can be
adjusted individually. Please adjust
these zones on the timer accordingly.
As the temperature rises and there is
less rain, your lawn will need more
water. You will need to change the timer
settings for more time and frequency as
we approach the Fall.
The best time to water is in the early
morning. This reduces fungus growth and
rapid evaporation.
Every year, you must
winterize the irrigation system.(Your
quoted price is on your contract.) This
should be done in October, before the
first frost. If you have provided an
email address, you will be emailed a
reminder. If you would like to request

The parts used in your individual system
may vary. If you need self-help
